As we prepare for another exciting year at the Brookings Arts Council, we wanted to take a moment to share some incredible accomplishments and invite you to continue to be a part of our vibrant community. The BAC has had a busy, artful 2024 (with more still to come!). We are proud to give you a glimpse into some of our accomplishments since January. These accomplishments would not have happened without your annual financial support.

Classes, Exhibits, and Events: 

• 400+ seats to classes & workshops sold

• 55+ classes/workshops hosted

• 25+ students have received scholarships to our programming

• 15 weekly average Advance clients have had a creative outlet through Art Factory 

• 8 diverse fine art exhibits hosted (with 1 more yet to come!), 3 of which were open calls for art or community collaborations

Public Art, Community, and Outreach: 

• 4 Free Community Art Days in collaboration with the South Dakota Art Museum (with 2 more yet to come)

• 5 multi-day art camps for youth and teens

• 4 local clubs hosted at the BAC monthly or weekly

• Our first annual Block Party for the Arts event in June
